How would you reinvent one of the world’s most popular premium music services? The key phrase ‘content is king’ was brought up many times in the discovery phase of this project, so that made it the focus. Adhering to a minimalist design was key into allowing the content to highlight itself while still giving users a clear path of interaction. The inclusion of adding priority to their massive video catalog was also an undertaking, since it’s a self identified weakness of their current service. We these two pain points in mind, we blended that into the already sleek design of the current app to make each user experience fresh and unique. This is your Spotify, so you are what you stream.
